The Gilmans!

Ed "Bluegill" Gilman

Ed Gilman is the best of the best. With countless hours on the river, this fishing veteran still knows how to tangle with the best the waters have to give up. Originally from the Century area in Florida, Ed grew up fishing the Tensaw river most all his life. With the exception of an occassional venture to waters such as Toledo Bend Texas, early hot spots included Rice Creek and Mifflin Lake of the Tensaw. Eventually to own his own cabin near the infamous Hubbard's Landing. Ed specializes in "brem" and most noteably the "Bluegill." The "crazy horse" of freshwater panfish. His stats rank in the thousands with over 60 years of fish slingin under his belt. His most recent achievement was catching the biggest fish of his life to date when he horsed in a whoppin 26lb Bluecat from a secret "Gilman Hole" off the Tensaw river. With a Zebco33 in his hand and the notorius "Green Boat" under his feet, there is nothing the fish of Tensaw fear more!

Eddie Gilman

Eddie Gilman or "Ed Jr." is the newest addition to the Gilman fishing legacy, stretching back over 100 years. Don't let the young angler under the hat fool you. This kid is what fishing legends are made of. With a multitude of experience passed down through generations of fish experts such as "PaPa and Granny Gilman."  Eddie brings the techniques of the modern day and the knowledge to catch a biggun. Walking in the foot steps of his father, few can set a hook harder or faster into a catfish. Eddie's fishing specialty. With already a 29lb Bluecat and countless others over 10lbs, he's after the "Big One." Give this guy a rod and he'll give YOU a fish!
